Harvard to promote messaging app backed by ex-Apple and BBC executives

Good Relations' technology unit Harvard has been appointed to handle communications for a new London-based video messaging app.

Wordeo was launched on 15 January by David Bailey, the former Apple executive who was responsible for its retail development, and Bob Johnson, who led the technical launch team for the BBC iPlayer.

It allows users to create short video messages that bring their words to life. The app has exclusive access to the professional clips of the Getty Images video library and lets users upload their own videos.

Harvard won the brief, which runs across media relations, blogger relations, social media and content strategy, following a competitive pitch against undisclosed agencies.
