Corporate and financial agency Smithfield has hired Financial News’ investment banking editor Matthew Attwood as an associate director.
Attwood, who is a regular contributor to Dow Jones Newswires and the Wall Street Journal, will join the agency in January 2014.
Previously he was assistant editor at International Financing Review, specialising in fixed income, and has also worked at Euroweek.
