The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has hired Once We Were following a four-way pitch for its marketing and campaigns strategy.
The agency will work across the charity’s marketing, communications, public affairs, fundraising, research, education and international work "to help build a more integrated and coherent strategic programme".
The charity’s deputy CEO John Grounds said: "Once We Were stood out because of its deep understanding of the ever-changing communications landscape and its commitment to brand storytelling in a digital world."
The appointment is part of the RSPCA’s move to streamline the dozens of marketing agencies it works with into five lead agencies and a roster of preferred suppliers, as reported by PRWeek (12 November).
