Lansons CEO Tony Langham has been made vice-chairman of the PRCA's PR Council.
He will work with former vice-chairman Rob Ettridge, who has taken over from previous chairman Martin Bostock for 2013-2014.
The council was established in 2010 and charged with discussing issues in PR and informing the future of the PRCA.
Ettridge, the co-founder of Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, said: "Tony was instrumental in establishing and rolling out the Economics of Reputation workstream this year, and his experience, insight and energy will be a huge asset to the council."
