Google hands consumer project to Ogilvy PR

Google is understood to have hired Ogilvy PR to help strengthen its relationship with UK consumers following a pitch that included at least two other PR agencies.

Ogilvy has been taken on for a three-month project. The brief will involve targeting consumer and lifestyle media to communicate how Google’s products benefit people's everyday lives.

Ogilvy and Google declined to comment.
