The board is made up of figures from the City, policy-making, comms and international affairs, and will provide guidance to MHP’s senior team.
Alongside Bender, formerly permanent secretary at the Department for Business, and MHP CEO Gavin Devine, it includes:
• Sally Costerton, director of Sally Costerton Advisory and PRCA vice-chairwoman, previously CEO of Hill+Knowlton Strategies EMEA;
• Richard Grainger, chairman of Safestore, and formerly chairman and CEO of Close Brothers Corporate Finance;
• Sir John Grant, executive vice-president of policy and corporate affairs at BG Group, and formerly a UK diplomat.
