With bricks and mortar shops under increasing pressure from online, Venda is seeking to position itself as a key voice that can help retailers navigate both online and offline sales.
Diffusion picked up the six-figure comms work after a pitch shoot-out against Bite Communications. Incumbent agency Lewis declined to take part in the pitch, which initially involved five agencies.
The agency is charged with moving Venda away from the retail trade press to build its executive team as industry commentators within the national business press and broadcast media.
It will also raise the firm’s global corporate profile as a leading British technology and software pioneer.
‘Developments in retailing are changing the way we live our lives, from the role of our town centres and high streets to the potential impact of inn-ovations like Google Glass,’ said Diffusion global MD Daljit Bhurji.
‘Diffusion is relishing the chance to showcase the ind-ustry expertise and vision of Venda in this debate and place it at the very forefront of the retail landscape.’
