The film studio behind Made in Dagenham has briefed Alexander PR to secure partnerships with brands that have a strong 1950s America heritage for the film Carol.
Number 9 producer Peter Ogunsalu said: ‘Brand product placement in UK film is relatively new and we welcome support from brands in this way. We are bringing in Alexander PR to ensure our productions benefit from these partnerships.’
The movie Carol, an adaption of the novel The Price of Salt by The Talented Mr Ripley author Patricia Highsmith, is set in 1950s New York and also stars Mia Wasikowska.
Alexander PR director Adam Rutherford said the agency would promote the brand partnerships with integrated PR campaigns that 'amplify the partnership beyond basic product placement'.
