The overall fee income increase is 11.5 per cent, up from last year’s figure of nine per cent.

Corporate and financial giant Brunswick has taken the top spot due the break-up of the former leader Bell Pottinger Group - Bell Pottinger Private is now in fifth place, with its former sister agency Good Relations in fifteenth.

Edelman tops the list of independent agencies and comes second overall with a 13 per cent increase in income. Weber Shandwick and FTI Consulting round out the rest of the top five.

Despite the overall double-digit growth, the figures also reveal that the agencies in the top 30 that provided their fee income details only grew by five per cent, down from 9.2 per cent last year.
