The agency was appointed by Wall to Wall Media for comms on its tenth series of the show, which will launch this summer on BBC1.
The brief will see Consolidated focusing on talent placement of celebrity subjects, as well as translating key themes of the most moving stories into wider editorial features for all national and lifestyle media.
Liz Fay, head of consumer PR for Consolidated, explained that comms would be tailored for individual shows, which involve celebrities tracing their family history.
‘For the series as a whole there is already a great awareness, so we will focus on the stories from each episode and pick out individual themes,' she said.
'Work may include a mix of interviews or bylined piece by the subject of the episode. If we do not have access to the celebrity, we will have to think laterally from a creative media relations point of view.’
The brief will include pre-transmission PR and comms throughout the series.
In the past, features celebrities have included Patrick Stewart and actor Larry Lamb (pictured).
