It is thought that Frank has picked up the project brief after the Direct Line-owned insurance brand held more general talks with a selection of consumer agencies about six months ago.
Details of the ITV show remain under wraps, but it is thought that the series is seen as aligning with the Churchill brand and its eponymous canine ambassador.
Churchill declined to comment on its sponsorship plans or confirm Frank’s appointment. Frank also declined to comment.
However, PRWeek understands that the agency will look to activate the sponsorship through a launch event and raising media awareness.
The project is also likely to include social media and online work.
Meanwhile, Frank’s northern agency Manc Frank has been selected to launch premium travel accessory brand Dom Reilly.
The firm is an official supplier to the Williams F1 team and is spearheaded by founder and former head of marketing at Williams, Dominic Reilly.
