SHANGHAI: Ketchum Newscan's Shanghai office has fought off rivals
in competitive pitches for two separate Proctor & Gamble consumer
product accounts: Safeguard soap and fine fragrance division brands
Hugo, Hugo Boss and Georgio Beverly Hills.
The year-long PR programme for Safeguard will kick off in April,
according to Ketchum's Shanghai office vice-president, Alice Lue.
'It will be a two-fold consumer education programme concentrating on
educating the media and, in turn, getting the media to educate consumers
about hygiene and what products can bring specific hygiene benefits,'
The campaign will be a joint effort between Ketchum's Beijing, Shanghai
and Guangzhou offices, led by Lue and by Ketchum's Beijing general
manager, Marianne Friese.
The awareness-building programme for P&G's fine fragrances will roll out
in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.
