HONG KONG: McDonald's is set to repitch its Hong Kong PR account
following Octagon Prism's surprise resignation after working closely
with the fast food giant for the past three years.
Octagon account director, Genevieve Hilton, said: 'It was a business
decision and it was our own decision to resign.'
Hilton said Octagon had handled external and internal PR work for
McDonald's, including marketing and communications, promotional support
and cause-related marketing for the chain's McCharity programme.

While McDonald's was not available for comment on the Octagon account,
it did not rule out the possibility of working with the consultancy in
McDonald's spokesperson Doris Chung said a new PR consultancy would be
appointed within weeks.
