BeAsYouSay and GCI London form strategic alliance

GCI London this week boosted its internal comms and change

management offering by forging a strategic alliance with niche

consultancy BeAsYouSay.

The Grey-owned network has decided against a stock swap with the

internal comms specialist, which was founded late last year by MD Dik

Veenman.

Instead a client-sharing deal, that comes into effect this week, has

been agreed. It will be overseen at GCI by London CEO Sue Ryan and at

BeAsYouSay by Veenman.

Veenman, whose agency name challenges clients to back words with

actions, was MD of internal comms firm Smythe Doward Lambert for a year

until April 2000.

Veenman's two agency partners, directors Neil Melvin and Gavin

Fen-Smith, were also formerly at SDL as senior consultants.
