Nkwocha sets up firm with former Harrods PR chief

Showbiz PRO Kizzi Nkwocha, former Harrods PR head Michael Cole, and

the former BBC TV publicity head Keith Bishop are to launch an agency

next month.

All three currently run agencies - Nkwocha's is PRHQ, Bishop's is MCS

and Cole's is Lehmann Communications - that will retain their existing

clients. But all future clients will be signed to the new agency, which

will be called KMK and will provide services reflecting the specialisms

of each partner.

Nkwocha is a media relations expert while Cole, who before working with

Mohammed Al Fayed was the BBC's royal correspondent, specialises in

corporate work. Bishop provides personal management for actors, in

addition to PR.

'We have been in touch for about a year and thought "why not get

together?". Agencies generally either specialise in media relations,

corporate work or things like finding bookings on TV shows,' said

Nkwocha.

Nkwocha said that the agency was expecting to get work through

word-of-mouth, but warned their services would be expensive: 'We are

going to pull for clients that can afford us, as we are not going to be

cheap'.
