Biss Lancaster to devolve duties as Greenwood quits

Biss Lancaster Euro RSCG is to hand greater responsibility to its

practice group heads following the resignation this week of MD Isabel

Greenwood after ten years.

Client-facing directors being given control of their businesses are

Belinda Taylor in the corporate practice; Michelle Waldron and Sarah

Muirhead in consumer and Manchester-based Brian Beech at regional

business Leedex Euro RSCG.

They will all report to Graham Lancaster, the PRCA chairman and Biss

Lancaster founder who was already the agency's chairman and now becomes

CEO.

He said: 'We are devolving greater profit and income targeting

responsibility to the directors of those groups, while as CEO I have a

co-ordinating role. This will help us address a difficult market

place.'

Greenwood, who leaves later this month, is to set up her own

consultancy. She said this week she hoped the change would allow her to

spend more time with her family.

Her client responsibilities, which included pet nutrition brand Hills,

IT firm Cosine and Japanese office equipment company Oki, will be shared

between the remaining members of the board.
