Internet payment processing company Worldpay has appointed Simon
Fletcher to the new post of global PR manager as it expands into
Fletcher, who moves from software giant Autonomy, where he has headed
pan-European PR since 1999, will oversee existing PR operations in the
UK, Asia-Pacific and the US as well as a new Hamburg office.
Fletcher said: 'I shall be pulling strands together and supporting the
commercial activities of people on the ground. What I will be doing is
enthusing the agencies and making them realise where they add the value
to the business.'

multi-lingual and multi-currency. We need to get that message out,' he
The company currently uses Porter Novelli International in Asia-Pacific,
Nelson Bostock in the UK and Crawford Communications in the US. Fletcher
said he was in the process of recruiting a German agency.
