BC-S PR wins UK brief for Siemens network ops firm

Technology giant Siemens has appointed BC-S PR on a UK-wide full PR

brief for its business and network operations subsidiary.

The Nottingham-based agency was hired following a pitch held late last

year and replaces Harvard Public Relations on the account.

BC-S is tasked with promoting specific products, including Tetra mobile

radios and the Hi Path range of internet products.

Agency MD Brian Dolby heads the account and reports to Jote Bassi,

Siemens Communications group marketing manager.

The firm will also assist in general PR support, including local

promotion of the company in the Milton Keynes area where it is based.

Siemens has an annual turnover of £300m and employs 2,700.

BC-S PR was set up in September last year and is part of marketing and

advertising specialists BC-S Group.

Last November it won another piece of work from Siemens, when it was

appointed to promote Solution 1, a web-hosting and internet service

provider for SMEs in the East Midlands.
