The loss of Miles, the former CEO of Cordiant's Financial Dynamics, and Morrison, formerly FD's international MD, leaves a question mark over the future of the BCI brand.
Neither Miles nor Morrison were available for comment as PRWeek went to press, but it is understood they were placed on six months gardening leave at a surprise meeting with Cordiant representatives earlier this week. They are now thought to be consulting lawyers.
BCI was created two years ago as Cordiant's global PR brand, covering agencies such as FD in the UK and Morgen-Walke Associates in the US.
FD chief executive Charles Watson said the announcement will not affect FD: 'It's business as normal for our consultancy. Cordiant is still committed to building up its international business.'
Cordiant and its PR consultancy College Hill declined to comment on the matter.
