INTERNATIONAL: Rand steps in as McKeon resigns Ketchum posting

NEW YORK: Ketchum global technology chief Paul McKeon has announced

his resignation after five years with the firm.

McKeon stepped down from his position as director of Ketchum's global

technology practice this week, handing over the role to associate

director Paul Rand.

Rand will work alongside chief information officer Andy Roach, who takes

over McKeon's responsibilities for the agency's digital strategy.

McKeon will continue to work part-time at Ketchum until the end of

March, but has not yet announced his future plans.

In his new role, Rand takes responsibility for up to eight direct

reports and oversees Ketchum's 200-strong technology offering.

He said: 'There probably will be some structural changes (to the tech

practice), working to centralise some of the key functions in key

markets to develop pockets of expertise.'
