Herald Communications has won a three-way pitch to handle B2B PR
for Hitachi Software Engineering.
HSE incumbent agency LJL did not take part in the repitch, which
comprised Herald, Pathway and Spin PR.
Herald will work on a B2B and educational campaign focusing on the use
of Hitachi interactive whiteboards - which can turn projected computer
images into interactive presentations - as learning tools.
The account is led by Herald account director and consumer tech team
leader Hannah Shepherd. She said the use of interactive whiteboards in
schools is an integral part of the Government's plan for e-learning and
will form a large part of the Hitachi campaign.
'There will be a focus on education and expanding more into the business
market,' said Shepherd, who reports to HSE UK account manager Malcolm
