One of the UK's largest pharmacy chains is reviewing its media
Lloyds Pharmacy, which operates 1,300 community pharmacies in the UK, is
'considering its options' for the first quarter of 2002, according to
the firm's marketing services manager Louise McIntyre.
The chain currently works with Birmingham-based Willoughby PR, an agency
that focuses on consumer work.
Agency founder Julia Willoughby declined to comment on any details of
the account, or the review.
Lloyds Pharmacy is a subsidiary of German pharmaceutical giant Gehe.
Gehe had a turnover of £9.5bn in 2000 and employs around 27,750
staff across Europe, the majority of them in Britain.
