Siobhan Wykes has been appointed editor of Cosmopolitan Bride, the
spin-off from the National Magazine Company glossy.
Wykes, who is deputy editor of NatMags' Prima Baby, replaces Catherine
Westwood, who produced just three issues of the bimonthly title.
Westwood has left to pursue 'other projects,' a spokesperson said.
Wykes said: 'Cosmo is a well-established, fashion-conscious title and
we're going to build on that in the bridal market.'
She takes up her new post on 8 January and will immediately start work
on the June/July issue of the magazine.
Launched in October, Cosmopolitan Bride is published by NatMags
Specialist Media (AIM).
Wykes has been deputy editor at Prima Baby since March 1997 and was
acting editor for six months in 2000. She was formerly assistant editor
of Woman.
NatMags bought AIM Publications and its bridal title You & Your Wedding
in December 2000.
