OneMonday tech start-up PR firm Evus shuts down

OneMonday Group's niche technology start-up PR firm Evus has folded

just three years after it was launched.

The agency, which was targeted specifically at technology start-ups,

closed down officially last week with just a handful of clients still on


Evus co-founder and director Mark Pinsent blamed the global slowdown in

the tech sector for the six-strong consultancy's demise.

He said: 'In the first and second year after Evus launched we were

flying along, but with the state of the technology market this year, the

number of start-ups shrunk and it really hit us hard.

'We saw existing clients reduce their fees and fewer and fewer potential

clients in the market to work with,' he added.
