Technology and financial PR firm Anderson Soames Communications
(ASC) went into liquidation this week.
The agency, founded by joint managing directors Karen Anderson and Tina
Soames, has shut with the loss of all six account-handling jobs.
Anderson blamed the global downturn, and pointed to the loss of the
Thomson Financial account - its last remaining client - as being
decisive.
Anderson is understood to be involved in a legal dispute with former
staff, some of whom claim not to have been paid - a claim Anderson
denied.
Although ASC is out of business, the two principals this week launched a
vehicle for selling their PR services - Blue Sky Public Relations.
Anderson said it would target consumer brands rather than tech and
financial clients.
