Start-up news release distributor na europe has launched a series
of conferences and seminars aimed at building better links between PROs
and journalists.
na europe founder and chairman David Davis said the initiative, The
Media Forum, was a result of the way technology had eroded the
traditional link between the two trades.
'One disappointment of the technology revolution has been the virtual
elimination of the traditional press conference and with it
opportunities for PROs and journalists to meet and build professional
relationships,' he said.
na europe, which has a distribution agreement with the Press
Association, was launched two months ago as a division of German news
agency DPA (PRWeek, 12 October).
Time & Fortune Group EMEA director of public affairs Emma Gilpin has
been appointed as a special adviser to the forum.
