PARIS: French presidential candidate Jean-Pierre Chevenement has
named Michel Suchod as his official spokesman for the campaign ahead of
the elections next spring. Former defence and interior
ministerChevenement is standing against President Jacques Chirac and
Prime Minister Lionel Jospin.
