NEW YORK: UK financial PR firm Cubitt Consulting is to gain a
presence in New York through a joint venture with KCSA Public Relations
Worldwide.
Cubitt KCSA will be led by Mark Kollar, who joins as MD from a role as
senior V-P of investor relations with Broadgate Consultants.
Kollar is to recruit four US nationals to work for Cubitt KCSA. For the
moment, however, KCSA's 60 New York staff will be on hand to work for
Cubitt's clients.
'We've been thinking about this for about a year,' said Cubitt founder
Simon Brocklebank-Fowler.
'But this office is not about us wanting to have a flag on the map. It's
client driven,' he added.
Cubitt KCSA will begin with three clients: Adecco, Telekom Austria, and
Nasdaq-listed ebookers.
KCSA is the largest independent investor relations consultancy in the
US. Last year it had total fee income of £8.3m.
