The Royal Dutch/Shell Group media relations head Mike Hogan has
joined Arup Engineers as its first head of corporate communications.
Shell International V-P of external affairs Mary Jo Jacobi, to whom
Hogan reported, is believed to be reviewing the role.
James Herbert, Shell International and Shell UK head of media relations
and crisis comms, has replaced Hogan until that review is complete.
Herbert will double up his work, continuing to oversee media relations
for the two Shell divisions, as well as taking on the group-level
role.
Hogan's departure follows a number of recent changes for Shell's PR
team.
Jacobi joined in September (PRWeek, 14 September) and Shell
International's director of planning, environment and external affairs
Malcolm Brinded was appointed in June.
