BRUSSELS: Crisis management and litigation PR firm Cicero
Consulting has launched its first overseas office, opening a subsidiary
in Brussels.
The office, called Cicero Brussels, will be run by co-directors Esther
Freifeld and Ben Gil. Gil has worked in Brussels for more than ten
years, principally in EU-related public affairs.
Freifeld's experience lies in European and international social affairs
and human rights lobbying in Brussels alongside work advising trade
organisations and NGOs.
The office will handle issues such as European financial services
regulation and competition, health affairs, free trade and UK trade in
Europe. Cicero Brussels is staffed by a three-strong team, which it is
hoped will expand to 12 by 2003.
Cicero, led by chief executive Stephen Lock, has plans to open further
offices in Paris, Berlin, Madrid and Warsaw.
