Leviton will join Teneo in mid-January as managing partner in the UK heading Teneo Strategy, a division that encompasses corporate strategy, crisis management, comms and investor relations.

Teneo is a multinational corporate advisory group founded in 2011 by Declan Kelly (former US CEO of Financial Dynamics and executive vice-president and chief integration officer of FTI Consulting), Doug Band (adviser to former President Bill Clinton) and Paul Keary (former senior MD at FTI Consulting).

The group’s other divisions are investment banking arm Teneo Capital, Teneo Restructuring and leadership advisory business Teneo Intelligence.

It is understood that Leviton’s hire is part of a drive to grow the company’s four businesses in the UK.

Former HSBC global comms chief Richard Beck joined Teneo Strategy London business earlier this year as managing partner. It is thought Beck will take a wider role overseeing all four of Teneo’s UK businesses.

Leviton has been with Finsbury for 15 years, joining in 1998 from Ludgate Communications. He currently runs the agency’s FTSE 250 division and has handled high-profile comms projects for Carlsberg, Alliance Trust, Mitchells & Butlers and Travelodge.

Teneo currently has 150 staff working in nine countries.
