Weber Shandwick Worldwide's new joint CEOs David Brain and Colin
Byrne have gone to eye-watering lengths to prove that they can work
together.
For the company's launch party later this month at The Sports Cafe in
London, staff received invites depicting a modified version of Vinnie
Jones and Paul Gascoigne's famous tussle, which must surely dispel any
rumours of inequality in the new relationship
For existing WSW staff, Byrne is depicted as Vinnie, having a good old
grab of the downstairs department of Brain, in full Gazza pose.
And for staff of BSMG, which Brain headed and is being integrated into
WSW, Brain is shown plumbing Byrne's depths.
The image was designed by WSW's visual communications department, headed
by Nick Lumsden.
Byrne said: 'They produced the design and I liked it so much that we put
it on the invites.
'This shows we are a fun agency. Our motto is high on professionalism
and low on pomposity,' he added, tears streaming down his cheeks.
