Its APAC region is on track to exceed 25 per cent growth in revenue, the US is growing at seven per cent and it added nearly $100m (£62.3m) in revenue worldwide. Organic growth represents 60 per cent of new business.

The agency won 24 new clients worth more than £1m each and retained 96 per cent of its top 200 clients. New clients include Citi North America Consumer Bank, Emirates Airlines, Expedia, Nissan and Obama for America.

Richard Dale was brought in as global director of strategic planning from Leo Burnett Group and John McNeel joined from TBWA as global MD of strategic integration. Robert Dowling was appointed president of US East region and general manager, New York. The agency poached Hanning Kempe from Grayling to be MD of its German office.

In a PricewaterhouseCoopers survey, 87 per cent of clients said they would refer the agency to another client.
