Bluegrass Marketing Communications has launched a regional press
centre in Hampshire to give local companies the opportunity to buy
'bite-size' PR services.
Andover-based Bluegrass hopes the service, called The Hampshire Press
Centre, will provide a one-stop shop for local businesses that need
occasional PR support but cannot afford to pay a monthly retainer to a
PR consultancy.
Bluegrass account assistant David Hulmes said: 'This is a way for local
business to use PR without the commitment of retained services.
'We offer a range of things - there is no minimum to the services that
can be bought, but I would expect to be doing a lot of one-off press
releases at the start,' he added.
Bluegrass launched in 1991 as a technology marcoms agency and is headed
by managing director Ian Constant.
