Nelson Bostock Communications has won a pitch to handle consumer
media relations for the launch of a computer security product.
The agency claimed electronic security firm Indicii Salus had seen
presentations from 19 of the top 50 agencies in the country. Winning the
six-figure fee annual account involved three separate pitches. There was
no incumbent.
Nelson Bostock will launch Xenophon, which protects a range of
electronic devices, from PCs to mobile phones, against unauthorised
access.
The agency will promote the product to senior managers in a range of
vertical markets such as banking, retail and the law. The theme will be
that the product allows online communication and transaction to be
risk-free.
The account will be run by associate director Rob Haslam, reporting to
Vanessa Chandrasekaran, Indicii EV-P for marketing and PR.
