Facebook's vice-president of global comms Joe Lockhart is stepping down from his role after being with the social network since June 2011. He will continue to work for Facebook as a consultant.

Burson-Marsteller has named Patrick Ford as interim chair of its AsiaPacific region to replace area CEO Bob Pickard, who is leaving the agency. The firm is searching for a permanent Asia-Pacific CEO.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has named Paul Fitzhenry as senior vice-president for global comms. He was formerly vice-president of corporate comms at Tyco International.

Ruder Finn Asia has boosted its management team with the appointment of PR veteran John Mullins as chief development officer.
