The hatch group agency MacLaurin has been awarded a six-figure PR
brief to handle the European roll-out of Scottish IT company Idesta's
flagship software product, Idesta 2.0.
The brief was won from incumbent Porter Novelli Convergence Group
following a three-way pitch.
McLaurin director Collette Flanagan will head a team based in London,
with support from the group's Edinburgh and Glasgow offices and European
Flanagan said the priority was to ensure Idesta's products became as
well-known throughout Europe as they are in Scotland, but the group
would also handle general media relations work.
Idesta supplies mobile communications solutions to companies such as
Interbrew, Unilever, Mars and Xerox. The company has just secured £6m of venture capital to fund the development of a new generation of
global wireless products.
