The event brings together activities held by individuals, organisations, businesses and community groups to raise awareness of climate change and is scheduled to take place in March next year.
Octopus Group will work on strategy to accelerate brand awareness and participation in Climate Week events among schools, businesses, councils, faith groups, institutions and consumers.
Octopus Group director Pete Hendrick said ‘We’re hugely passionate about the Climate Week cause and knew with our depth of skills and diverse sector focus that we could really make a difference.’
The campaign is supported by businesses such as the CBI and NHS, and partners with brands including Tesco, EDF H&M and Nissan.
The brief will be led by Octopus Group associate directors Kate Mills and Juliet Cameron.
