Maria Miller brings in Joanna Hindley as special adviser

The new Culture Secretary has brought in a special adviser from The Prince's Foundation following the Cabinet reshuffle.

Maria Miller has appointed Prince’s Foundation head of comms Joanna Hindley as her special adviser. Before working for Prince Charles, Hindley ran the Conservative broadcast team for the general election.

Meanwhile, it is understood that former Health Secretary Andrew Lansley’s special advisers Paul Stephenson and Bill Morgan have left the Department of Health. New Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt is understood to have retained one of his special advisers Sue Beeby, while Guy Levin has moved to the Department for International Development.

Wales Office special adviser Richard Hazlewood has lost his job in the reshuffle and is currently ‘considering his options’.
