Elle has launched its first mobile site in response to the increasing number of users viewing content on their phones. The mobile site, which is now live, has been built in response to 'increasing demand' from Elle readers and digital users for premium content on multiple platforms. Read more

Procter & Gamble has signed a deal with the cinema sales house Pearl & Dean to create branded content based on UK movie releases. The spots, including coverage of premieres, celebrity interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, will be tailored to P&G products and aired in cinemas during the pre-movie ad slot. Read more

GlaxoSmithKline has appointed Procter & Gamble's Sameer Singh as its vice-president and head of global media, to spearhead a new approach to media planning, buying and strategy. Singh is charged with optimising GSK's global media strategy, planning and buying for its global consumer healthcare and North American pharma businesses. Read more

Bauer, the magazine company behind Grazia and Zoo, has announced annual pre-tax profits were down 9.5 per cent to £57.3m in 2011 after a £17.7m drop in revenues. Results for Bauer Consumer Media filed at Companies House last week show it generated revenues of £228.1m during 2011 compared with £245.8m during 2010. Read more
