Aegis, the media and digital specialist, which is being acquired by Dentsu, has reported a 15 per cent boost to first-half revenues but a 2.4 per cent drop in pre-tax profits to £36.1m.

Guardian Media Group non-executive director Simon Fox is leaving the group to be Trinty Mirror chief executive.
