Opinion: Letters of the Week - We should learn from the Games and engage temporary staff
The PRCA found 58 per cent of senior in-house and agency figures polled also said they thought the Games had a 'very positive effect' on Britain's international reputation ('Olympic Games surpasses expectations, PRCA finds', prweek.com/uk, 14 August).
This was surely in part due to the motivation of the volunteers and
temporary staff, who had clearly embraced the culture of the Games.
Engaged employees are a key driver of success and we should ensure we
put the same effort into engaging temps in the company's culture and
values as we would for permanent staff.
