Other objectives are production of a client newsletter, participating in trade shows and assisting in the development of evaluation programmes.
The agency will be assisting the existing press operation at the port, which in turn works in partnership with Seattle’s Convention and Visitors Bureau to promote the destination to international consumer and travel media, tour operators and travel agents.
The brief calls for ‘significant experience working with destination organisations in the United States’, and a ‘tenured international tourism staff with significant experience working with the US market’, and a London office.
