GLOBAL ROUND-UP: IRS searchs for PR agency

WASHINGTON: The US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is searching for

a PR agency to handle a five-year, £69m campaign to foster

communication between itself and the public. The IRS has spent the past

three years restructuring itself into a more customer-focused agency and

the aim is to introduce the public to the 'new' IRS. RFPs have been

issued but a decision is not expected until January.
