Lane will be tasked with delivering client strategy and pushing the agency’s telecoms and media profile in the UK and Europe.
His research agency, which speclises in mobile advertising, was founded in 2007 and provides advertising, content and services in 30 mobile markets around the world.
Liberty now has four business units: corporate and clean tech, enterprise tech, consumer tech and telecoms and media.
The appointment follows the arrival of Peter Hay (head of digital) and Matt Wood (creative planner) earlier in the year.
