Reporting to head of PR Ros Holley, Third City’s campaign will centre on thought leadership, with the agency co-developing a data ‘hub’ and co-ordinating social media platform strategy as well as conventional media relations.
The account team will be headed up by co-founder Mark Lowe, with data and analytics led by senior consultant Chris Blackwood.
Lowe said: ‘They’re the market leader and they’re looking to take things to the next level. They’ve been developing and investing in new technology and they’re working a lot more with corporate partners too. It’s moving on, expanding beyond being sponsorship pages and aiming to be the Amazon or Facebook of giving.’
JustGiving was founded in 2000 and has grown into the UK’s most popular online fundraising business, raising more than £1bn for more than 12,000 charities.
Commenting on the appointment, JustGiving head of marketing Romain Bertand said: ‘JustGiving is now more than ten years old and we now have a huge range of tools and services to offer charities, businesses and consumers. As we look to grow the size and scope of the business, we’ve chosen to work with an agency with a strong data proposition.'
