STOP PRESS: Weber mulls over WSW/BSMG merger

A mega-merger between Weber Shandwick Worldwide and BSMG Worldwide

is rumoured to be under consideration as talks continue over

Interpublic's takeover of True North, set for approval later this month.

WSW chief executive Larry Weber said it was one of the options he was

looking at. A merger would create an agency worth around pounds 393m.
