Speaking to PRWeek, Good Relations chairman Kevin Murray described the new company as ‘a grown-up start-up’ that will put trust and transparency at its core.

Murray said that his transition team would include ex-Bell Pottinger employees former Marketing Week editor Mark Choueke, and planning directors Nicholine Hayward and Jon Leach, alongside Sans Frontières corporate client lead Simon Jones and others.

Good Relations Group launched a website on Monday on which it listed its clients as including Sky, Sony, Vodafone and Unilever. The agency has 215 staff, 172 of whom are based in the UK.

Speaking about the new venture, Murray said: ‘Chris [Satterthwaite, Chime CEO] asked me to stay and reinvent a business with the backing of Chime’s experience and financial weight.’

The unveiling of the Good Relations Group comes as Lord Bell and Piers Pottinger have disposed of their holdings in Chime Communications.

However, Chime will continue to own a 25 per cent stake in Bell’s new holding company, Bell Pottinger Private.
