Music site Deezer appoints Julie Harari-West as international PR director

Music streaming company Deezer has appointed a director of international PR from Weber Shandwick.

French-founded Deezer has brought in Julie Harari-West, who joins from working as an associate director in Weber Shandwick’s consumer division.

Her role will involve communicating the Deezer brand globally, delivering international campaigns and managing a network of agencies across several territories.

Deezer chief international officer Laurent Billion said: ‘Julie has joined our senior team in this new role, created to help us build our brand worldwide as we continue to expand globally. Deezer is the leading music streaming service in France and with Julie’s help we will look to replicate this success around the world.’

At Weber Harari-West led multi-territory accounts ExxonMobil and MasterCard with a focus on the amplification of sponsorships and pan-regional campaign development.

She has also worked as senior comms adviser for global record industry trade association IFPI.

Deezer has 23 million users across 88 territories, and 1.5 million subscribers.
