What is it good for?
Benefiting from an 'informal yet luxurious' feel, the restaurant is surrounded by shabby chic garden furniture and is a quiet spot ideal for client lunches. The food has Middle Eastern influences while also drawing on European training.
Expect to see dishes such as baby courgette flowers with dukkah and tomato shankleesh salad or grilled rabbit with chorizo, parsnip skordalia and grumolo verde. Desserts include lemon posset pavlova with labneh and crushed raspberries.
Who's the boss?
Petersham Nurseries, owned by Gael and Francesco Boglione, is set at the foot of their home, Petersham House. Greg Malouf has joined as executive chef for the summer.
